                                                                         PREMIERE ON LVIV FASHION WEEK

      Alicja Czarniecka will present her latest collection of prêt- à -porter creations as a part of Lviv Fashion Week on October 23rd 2009 at 8 p.m. in Lviv.

      Alicja Czarniecka was born June 26th 1985. She graduated in 2005 from High School of Art in Suprasl, Poland and continued her education at the Fine Art Academy (ASP)in Warsaw, which she graduated from with honors in 2009. Her mother, Grace working with fashion designers in USA, was the one who taught her the profession and inspired her career in fashion. Being 21 years old Alicja went to United States to assist Barbara Bates with her high-end fashion shows and luxury designs for Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Whitney Huston, Mary J. Blige, Tyrus Thomas, Will Smith, Mike Tyson, Michael Jordan and many other celebrities. In 2008 she joined the Young Polish Designers Foundation where she successfully sold her first collection and still continuous to exhibit her designs. Her various presentations in Europe and United States helped her gain necessary experience and the next step in her career's evolution is the show in Lviv, which we cordially invite you to attend.

      The 'Alicja Czarniecka' brand is synonymous with inventive elegance, sophistication and uniqueness. The collection - inspired by the women of the eighties - expresses their desire to push existing limits. It describes different sides of a women nature - from energetic, modern housewife to an active, dynamic businesswoman. Alicja's love for 70's and 80's culture also influences her choices of fabrics and cuts. She uses textiles made of fine natural fibers often decorated with elegantly embroidered designs and prints where skin tones are layered with black heavy silk, pink repp, green and metallic colors. Paying attention to detail and ranging from soft flowing lines to fully geometrical shapes makes her conceptions bold and daring. Alicja creates feminine looks for the style-conscious woman who are aware of the current fashion trends but do not rely on them.
