Alicja Czarniecka (Poland) demonstrated a collection of women’s clothes autumn/winter 2009-2010, in the stylistics of which the influence of rock- and punk- subcultures can be traced. The source for the creation of that collection was paintings by Jackson Pollock and abstract art. The designer presented for the new season dresses with accentuated waistline, trousers, black corselets, belts and wide bracelets. In the models there dominated clear combinations of black and white, or black and grey monochrome, drapery fabrics and contrast factures.
