Lemberg is the Lviv’s ancient name, which was of a beautiful city at the time of the Austro-Hungarian Empire from 1772 to 1918. Prior to the glory of the city originated as a European center exhibitions. Suffice it to mention St. George fairs, information of which dates from 1659, Galician contracts – second half of 18th century. In the largest fair Lviv was visited by richest German, Hungarian, Armenian, Turkish and Tatar merchants.
The result of recognition of the city as one of the largest exhibition centers in Europe was his participation in the establishment along with 19 other European cities the biggest time Global Exhibition Industry Association, known today as UFI.
Our cape is a revival of the former glory of the city as a European exhibition center.
